Prime quality SA572 Grade 42 pressure vessel plate wear resistant steel plate stock

Jspl announced plans to build a 2.5-million-ton-a-year SA572 Grade 42 pressure vessel plate steel plant in the ramga region of the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is reported that the company has a wire mill, a bar mill and a steel service center in the region. The new steel plant is expected to be put into operation in two to three years. The completion of the new SA572 Grade 42 pressure vessel plate steel plant will be conducive to its integration and elimination of backward production capacity.

The performance of heat treatment process reflects the difficulty of heat treatment and the tendency of defects of the steel. It mainly includes hardenability, superheat sensitivity, temper embrittlement tendency and oxidation decarburization tendency. The hardenability of SA572 Grade 42 pressure vessel plate, alloy steel is high. The cooling method can be used slowly during quenching, which can reduce the deformation and cracking tendency of the workpiece. The addition of Mn and Si will increase the superheat sensitivity of steel. The strengthening effect of alloy elements on steel in quenching and tempering state is the most significant.
