After quenching and tempering, 40Cr alloy steel plate and ASTM A-283 Grade C sheet have good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity. The hardenability of steel ASTM A-283 Grade C is good. It can be hardened to Ф28 ～ 60mm during water quenching and Ф15 ～ 40mm during oil quenching. In addition to quenching and tempering, this steel is also suitable for cyanidation and induction hardening. The cutting performance is better. When the hardness is HB174 ～ 229, the relative cutting workability is 60%. 40Cr alloy steel is suitable for making medium-sized plastic molds.
The visual inspection (VI) or visual detection method is to scan the surface of the steel plate through a machine vision system (CCD line camera), convert the captured target into an image signal, and send it to a dedicated image ASTM A-283 Grade C processing system, which converts it into a digital signal based on pixel distribution and brightness, color and other information. The system performs various operations on these signals to extract the characteristics of the target, and then controls the operation of the equipment on the spot according to the result of the discrimination. The Egypt customer ordered 130 tons ASTM A-283 Grade C stainless steel plate in stock, and this batch has left port today for its destination today(October 25th, 2019). 316l stainless steel is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. This material has better corrosion resistant property than 304/314L for it's higher Ni and Mo content. (it is considered to be marine grade stainless steel, not suitable for warm sea water treatment). 316L austenitic stainless steel supplied by our company has good formability and weldablity, additionally it is proved to have excellent properties of tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths in elevated temperature environment.
